BWC # 7-Today

I was thinking the other day that most of the time I "m scrapping special occasions or my kids, so I thought well, I want to do something just for me, about me. And here comes the challenge-pick a day -one from the next 2 weeks, and scrap about it. Do journaling only, embellish a lot or a little, use pics or not, just create!!Whatever you feel like doing is fine with me. Here is what I came up with-just an example:

BWC # 6: Put some letters on that photo!

Hi everyone :) Here’s a fun new challenge for you all, one that you can do quickly and won't take up so much time.

My challenge is to create a layout 8x8 or smaller, pick a picture that you really love but haven't been able to scrap yet and put some alpha letters directly on your photo! You can use stickers, Thickers or by computer. I pasted my photo into MS Word and typed the text right on to the photo.

I can't wait to see what you all create! Have fun and happy scrapping.

Ok, I know Valentine's Day is over, but that doesn't mean that we can't show some love to someone who needs it! Create a LO/project as a way to show that you care about someone who's in need of some encouragement. Include a photo of the person and the reasons why they are special.

This challenge was inspired by my best friend, Sarah. She's currently dealing with several medical and relationship issues. We were talking on the phone a couple of weeks ago, and she said "it's like I've forgotten who I am." So I made a LO to remind her... it's 8x10 and I put it in a frame for her.

January 2010 TRAKking

Here’s the TRAKking for January 2010. My cut-off date for late critiques this time was 2/18. I have to say, overall group participation has been stellar – with the exception of our MIA Brian (gaah, hope he’s okay wherever he is), we’ve been rockin check-ins & critiques - go SHCG! I gave extra credit for on-time JFS critiques. BWCs & 2?10s are optional but I’m recognizing those who responded for fun. Please let me know if you have any questions.
